Trip Hazards

Not all trip hazards are due to sinking concrete. Some are a consequence of concrete being lifted by tree roots. Our experienced estimators are adept at determining the best solution for eliminating these dangerous offsets through concrete leveling and grinding services.

Concrete Cleaning & Sealing

Boost the aesthetic appeal and durability of your driveway with our cleaning and sealing services. B-Level employs the use of commercial-grade power washers for a thorough cleaning. Afterward, a sealer is applied to the concrete surface. The result is a rejuvenated, protected concrete driveway that can resist adverse weather.

Concrete Caulk

An excellent way to shield your concrete from future erosion or settlement is to fill concrete cracks using caulking. This prevents further settling and erosion while enhancing the overall look of your repaired concrete.

Void Fill

Voids can be effectively filled by drilling small 1-inch holes through the surface of your concrete and pumping in our special limestone slurry under low pressure. Our limestone slurry is non-expansive and provides no strain on the concrete, making it a perfect solution for filling all the hidden cavities beneath your concrete.

Proper Slope

Proper slope and direction of water flow are essential for averting expensive structural repairs. Whenever concrete settles, it impacts the slope or drainage of the installed surface. Our concrete lifting technicians are well-equipped to bring your uneven patios, porches, sidewalks, and driveways back to the proper position, ensuring water drains away from your home’s foundation.

Additional Concrete Information

What is being used to raise my concrete?

We use a concrete slurry mix made of agricultural lime and portland cement. We are not mud-jackers. B-level drills a much smaller hole than mudjackers and our concrete slurry sets up hard making it a perfect material for lifting. Unlike poly-foam, our concrete slurry is non-expansive, which makes it much safer to use next to your foundation walls and much less expensive for filling voids.

How big are the holes drilled into the concrete and how many will there be? The holes are about the size of a quarter. The exact amount and location of the holes are determined by the foreman when on site.

How soon can the concrete be used?

The concrete can be walked on right away. You will not want to drive over any concrete for 72 hours.

Why should I caulk the seams in my concrete?

In most cases, we will provide a quote to caulk the open seams in the work area. This helps prevent water from getting back under the concrete and allowing it to sink again.

Why is it necessary to identify the location, depth, and condition of the downspout laterals in the working area?

If not properly marked, these lines are at risk of being filled with the concrete slurry mix we use when lifting.

I have now allowed some time to pass to see how their work would hold up before leaving a review. Let me tell you it looks just like when they did it well over a year ago now. Perfect job! Thank you for coming all this way!

Jacob came out for an estimate and was super knowledgeable about our foundation issues. He was very thorough and explained the process in detail. He also was very concerned with making sure the job would be done correctly and safely. That is the top reason I chose him. The guys on the crew were all just as nice and knowledgeable. Super respectful of my home and me. I didn’t hear one cuss word. They were on time and did exactly what Jacob said they and would do. The job was done right. They did pier installation for our chimney that was separating from the house and they installed steel beams on the other side of our basement to prevent further bowing. All at a reasonable price. I would recommend B-Level to anyone. They were recommended to me by a structural engineer who trusts their work as well.

J.T. & crew did an awesome job. Communication was great, scheduling was great, quality of work was great, price point was very reasonable. They even accommodated me forgetting to tell them I had a second job for repair, and fixed that one right there and then as well. They leveled a large stamped concrete patio in our backyard, as well as the steps leading to our front door.

My wife and I were impressed from our first meeting with B Level. What impressed us most was that they wanted to find the root cause of our severe foundation issue instead of just trying to “sell us” on a job and repair! They were straight forward, clear and helped explain the repair in detail. They explained everything along the way, made the repair in steps and were always easy to get ahold of and quick to respond. They kept our home extremely clean and cleaned up each day after work. I couldn’t say enough good things about Jacob and the team. If you have any concrete, water proofing or foundation work definitely reach out to them!
